Trillions & Counting

Trillions & Counting

Trillions & Counting, A Tampa based artist. Using donated boards and photo transfers he transforms skate boards into works of art. Always with a different theme or style of art he transfers. One of his most recognizable pieces he uses shreds of cash to either make his own design’s or decorate full boards.

The board’s are donated from the Skate Park Of Tampa. They come in any condition and all are used. All of the boards are broken from use. With these pieces he has many options, He could either combine two boards and make a mural. Or like in his new installation he screw’s board’s together to make chair’s or stool’s. Ranging in different styles and size’s.

One of his most eye catching pieces is his currency deck. A locally donated skate board is covered with american currency. This money is bought from the Federal reserve in shred form. Each shred is individually placed onto the board to cover it. Every one of these boards is more unique than the last.

How we see it, Trillions & Counting is one of the major artist here in the Tampa Bay. Be sure to catch him monthly  at the local Indie Flea market held at the Rialto theatre in our downtown. Always coming out with new pieces and doing local murals like at the Debonair District head quarter’s. Don’t sleep on this guy, seriously.

The Young Parisians

The Young Parisians

Without a doubt The Young Parisians are some of the hardest working people here in Tampa, Florida. While not putting themselves in a niche they have been able to cover a myriad of events and their own musical enterprises. Mike Mass, Beyobe and Drew Brown have put out multiple CD’s,  musical preformances and have toured around the united states.

Mike Mass, From the Bronx, New York. Co founder of the Young Parisians. has built a strong following over the years. His most recent acomplishment would have to be the Gasparilla music festival. Held every year in Tampa Bay for our Gasparilla pirate festival.Held every year in the Curtis Hixon waterfront park, Mike preformed in the atrium, Right at sunset. It was one of those moments where you just had to be there. Everything worked out perfectly for him in the end. His preformances was a combination of excitment, generosity, and explosiveness. HE and his musical partner Beyobe Just returned from a couple of New York tours. Where they did multiple shows, Radio broadcasts with Sway. From the looks of it, Mike Mass is on the rise to become one of Tampa’s finest MC’s.

Tyrone ‘Dibiase’ Beyobe, Co founder of the Young Parisians.  In my personal opinion has got to be one of the best producers here in the bay.I met this guy back in 2010 in community college. He has been music for much longer than that. With multiple CD’s of his own music he has also made music for some of the bays artist’s as well as nation wide artists. Hosting some of the best events, such as Wine and Rhyme. An event held at the local Anise Gastrobar. Hosting many local artist’s including Mike Mass and Drew Brown. A place where artist’s producer’s and other local celebrities. He also helps put together a local beat battle for other rising producer’s.

Drew Brown, Also known as Moowgli, One of the newest members of the Young Parisian’s. A bartender at Anise. Though he has been making music his whole life his career has just blossomed. With a CD in the works that is produced by Mike Mass and Beyobe shall surely blow everything out of Tampa’s bay. He was also on the Young Parisians tour to New York where he shot his first music video. He also went on the same Sway in the morning show, As well as being a part of many shows with Mike Mass.

Tampa Bay Vinyl Charity

Tampa Bay Vinyl Charity

Tampa Bay Vinyl Charity, An organization that is focused on helping the community around us. Based in Tampa, FL, Tampa Bay Vinyl charity will donate its proceeds to the local chapter of Metropolitan Ministries. We believe that even a little, can go a long way. So with that being said we are striving our hardest to help the world around our community.

What makes this charity different from all the others here in the bay area? As well as taking currency donation we are also putting up for sale a revolving vinyl sale. With this we are setting up events in the Tampa Bay area. These events will help showcase other local artists and vendors riding the same wave we are. The events we will be hosting will be a staging ground for our main sales. The proceeds from the vinyl we sale well also be donated to the Metropolitan house. Since record sales are on the rise people will be more inclined to help a local charity. We will host a myraid of different genres of music ranging from multiple decades of music. There will also be a special folder for hard to find records.

To keep this charity going we have put together a revolving door of vinyl. By this we mean we will also take record donations. Depending on the quanity of the records donated that person will receive a free gift. Certain events we host will have special drink specials depending on how many records are donated. As we hope this is an event that we can grow and branch out to different events.

Debonair District is more than a clothing line, They are a movement that has taken over the Tampa Bay area. With more than just clothing they have a car collective called ILDS or I LOVE DRIVING SLOW. As well as both of those they also host local music talent and artist’s. SInce 2012 they have been a haven’t stopped moving.

Since having an in house screen printer they can pretty much get away with anything. They screen print all there own garments, and make all there own designs. With everything done in house they have total control over what they produce. What they come out with is looked over so throughly that everything that comes out of there work shop is meticulous. As well as screen printing there own products they do collaboration’s with local music groups like Samurai Shotgun and other local clothing brands.

ILDS or I LOVE DRIVING SLOW is more of a car collective rather than a car brand.  With hosting there own events and going to other in the south east. Hosting some of the biggest event’s in the south called WinterFest.  WinterFest is more than a car show, it embodies top of the line modded cars as well as current builds. Since 2011 they have never stopped moving, with each additional show growing in size.  They also host a dance competion. Where the best dancers come from all around to compete for a cash prize.

Debonair District as a clothing line has come out with some of the most unique clothing pieces Tampa Bay has seen recently. with there in house designer and screenprinter not much can get in their way. So much so that they have started taking on side order’s for other companies.
